What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a treatment designed to restore movement, strength, and function in the body. It helps people recover from injury, manage pain, and improve mobility through a combination of hands-on therapy, tailored exercises, and rehabilitation techniques.

Physiotherapists assess how the body moves and identify areas of weakness, stiffness, or dysfunction. Treatment may include manual therapy, targeted exercises, postural advice, and strategies to prevent further injury. It is commonly used for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and long-term conditions such as arthritis.

Physiotherapy is suitable for people of all ages and activity levels, helping to improve flexibility, strength, and overall wellbeing. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve movement, physiotherapy provides structured, evidence-based care to support your health.
